Check out this article from Valleywag about an intern who said he had a "family emergency" but then submits his Halloween party pics on Facebook from the night he was supposed to work.
This article features his original email, the reply, then the office-wide email sent with his lovely Halloween picture.

Even though it must have not been that great to have been caught, I applaud his boss for using technology to track him down. It is a little scary to realize that life really isn't that private anymore. But, then again I guess it is just a lesson learned to not skip work just to go to a party.
This is hilarious. Even though the intern was wrong for lying to his boss about not being to come into work I still think it is kind of scary knowing that others are completely aware of your coming and goings through FaceBook. I guess if we can take anything away from this it would be not to post pictures on FaceBook you wouldn't want your boss to see.
Big LOL - dude messed up.
Thanks for your information. Most of the posts in the blog is really valuable. Regards
